Spurred by a whim and a desire to prove himself, Karan joins the but soon deserts the training due to its extreme discipline. This decision leads to a fallout with his family and Romi, who breaks up with him over his lack of resolve. Realizing his mistakes, Karan returns to the IMA, eventually transforming into a focused and dedicated officer.
